Tyra Talks About Asian Eyelid Surgery

Tyra Banks talked about how people perceive ethnic minorities and how those perceptions affect how they feel about themselves.  She talked with one young woman about Asian eyelid surgery (I had not really heard much about this before).  Some people use it to make their eyes look bigger and more “Caucasian” but this girl denied using it for that reason.  Naturally, Tyra called her on it and said that she didn’t believe her.  That’s when things got interesting (and a little uncomfortable).  Watch the segment here:
