Woman Sues Victoria’s Secret Over Thong
A woman is suing Victoria’s Secret after suffering an eye injury while trying to put on a thong she bought from them. She says that while she was putting on her underwear, the middle popped off and hit her in the eye. Her lawyer says that the undergarment was defective.
The plaintiff actually ended up in the hospital as a result of her injury. She was told that she suffered three actual cuts to her left cornea for which she was treated with a steroid.
Meredith Vieira asked a great question - had the underwear been laundered or used before? Could it have been loosened? Still, even if they had been through the laundry, they should have been made to withstand regular washing, in my opinion. Watch the story here:
