Michael Phelps on the Today Show
American swimmer, Michael Phelps, who has been the superstar at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympic Games after winning eight gold medals, was on the Today show earlier this week. I have to say that I absolutely adore him and could not stop laughing about the sign that said “My Olympic Dream. Kiss Michael Phelps. One world, one kiss.” Hilarious!

As a 33 year old average-aged person(at least that’s what I like to call it, it sounds better then old person). Anyhow u give me hope in todays youth. It seems the youth of today are not motivated in much of anything but what celebrity is not wearing panties(which I’m sure if they or someone close to them had a bipolar chemical imbalance they wouldn’t find it so humorous), and also glued to the tv transfixed on guitar hero going as far as dropping out of high school to compete in tournaments. I don’t understand how their parents could be so irresponsible, I mean that may win them some money for short term dreams but I don’t think they are thinking to far into the future unless guitar hero has some kind of retirement plan that I am nor aware of. So in closeing thanks for giving me the hope I needed that there are still some youths that are reaching for their dreams and I’m sure because of you pursuing and winning yours, will give them the courage that it can be done.
thank you michael and congratulations on your magnificent record breaking wins. You are the proof our children of today needed. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! One last thing your mother is a dear I cried when I saw in her eyes how proud she was of you. I only hope I can make my mother ( a single mother also, that proud of me!!!! )CONGRATULATIONS ON A JOB WELL DONE! By the way guitar hero is a blast just in moderation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
